I have helped build 4 companies including one of the biggest premium SMS companies ever, 2 coin laundries, 1 IoT consultancy and a killer digital agency and have helped customers like Starbucks, Buzzfeed, Budweiser, Daikin, Detector Inspector and more. General Manager, Digital Basis (2020-???)

A digital product agency that works with first time founders to create scalable businesses with their products.

Management of the project management and design teams, including recruitment, coaching and developing capability of the teams.

Led in-person and remote sessions with stakeholders to map out features, priorities, customer avatars, customer pain points, marketing including brand and SEO.    

Operations management of developers including facilitating stand ups, retrospectives and designing development structures (creating a kanban system in notion).

Oversee company budgeting, set OKRs, oversee marketing and sales strategies for example Implemented R+D project plans which helped with R&D tax incentives.

Product Manager, Mystic Pants (2016-2020)

An internet of things consultancy that helped build products for Budweiser, Buzzfeed, Starbucks, Detector Inspector and more.

We also built our own IoT platform Conctr and a connected family dashboard in LyfBoard.

Managed profit and loss (P&L), monthly budget and payroll.

Worked closely with cross‐functional teams to develop mobile applications and physical products. Across multiple market segments, with a combined usage of 2M monthly active users.

Led brainstorming sessions with clients such as Starbucks, Buzzfeed, Budweiser, Ogilvy Australia to determine business objectives and specifications. Leading to over $2.5 million in sales.

Facilitated communication between stakeholders to deliver deployment on‐time and under‐budget.Working with a team of engineers I established and rolled out guidelines for timeline estimates, agile development, prioritization frameworks, “Culture Thursday's,” and backlog organization resulting in project time efficiency increasing by 40%

General Manager - Product (Ask Bongo), Crowd Mobile (2007-2014)

Ask Bongo: A premium ask anything SMS service, with over 150 virtual staff spread over Australia, New Zealand and UK.

Spearheaded product launches across the globe, oversaw all marketing campaigns expanding net profits from $1800/day to $25K/day.

Led new product prototyping initiatives, working closely with executive team to set strategies, determine product needs, and quickly develop and test new applications, which contributed to an increase in efficiency by 60%

Set the business and product strategy, planned product features and drove execution - Owned customer service, product development, marketing, user acquisition, legal and, finance.

Negotiated sale of Company in 2007 for $15M and again in 2009 for $2.3M.

Analyzed and reviewed new products and projects against regulatory criteria and continually presented ways to reduce risk, optimize potential for sales and service teams across multiple onshore and offshore contact centers.

Buzzfeed Tasty Onetop

Smart induction cooktop.

After facilitating a design sprint and under a tight 6-week deadline, our team built an iOS app from a few assets. So impressed with what we had done we were told to do the same for android. We also implemented some soft and hardware analytics and opened the product up to all new marketing ventures.

Before AMA there was SMS

A premium SMS service that allowed an all knowing monkey answer any question. I helped with the product launch in New Zealand and was promoted to General Manager to Launch in the UK. I oversaw international operations, accounting, software development, legal and marketing.
